Breath, gratitude, and the memory of water.
Every pour begins with a breath. I work from the Dr. Emoto water-memory studies and a daily gratitude practice, letting the pigment move the way intention moves water. Some days that sounds lofty even to me. Then I watch a stranger go quiet in front of a canvas and I stop arguing with it. As a board member of Highest Good for All, a share of each community pour returns to local art access.
