Crystal pouring pigment across a canvas in her studio

(06) About

Breath, gratitude, and the memory of water.

I spent years in digital marketing being very good at something that was not mine. Painting was the thing I did at night. Now it is the thing I do, full stop. And I will be honest, the path here was messy, expensive, and full of half-finished canvases.

The practice

Every pour starts with a breath

Four rounds of breath work, a gratitude list, then the cups. I work from the Dr. Emoto water-memory studies, the idea that water holds the intention put into it, and I let the pigment move the way intention moves water. Lofty? Some days even to me. Then a stranger goes quiet in front of a canvas and I stop arguing with it.

The partnership

Highest Good for All

I sit on the board, which means the community work is not a marketing line. It is already on my calendar. A share of every community pour goes back into local art access, and the benefit events we co-host are open to anyone who shows up.

Where this is going

Fewer prints. Bigger originals. More rooms.

I am winding down the old Texas entity and standing up a Florida one, aiming at $60k a year so the business can grow up properly. Practically, that means I am pouring larger, showing up in person more, and keeping the made-to-order goods as a side stream rather than the main event.

Come meet me

The fastest way to understand the work is to stand in front of it. Find me at the next event, or just ask me a question.
